Highlights of the recent Express Entry draws conducted by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are as follows:

  1.     Multiple Draws: In July, IRCC organized a total of 5 Express Entry draws, issuing 5,800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs).
  2.   All-Program Draws: The most recent all-program draw occurred on July 11, 2023. It invited 800 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 505. The highest CRS score recorded for an all-program draw in 2023 was 511 on July 4.
  3.   STEM-Category Draw: On July 5, IRCC held a noteworthy draw specifically for candidates with work experience in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) occupations. This first-ever STEM category draw invited 500 candidates; the minimum CRS score required was 486.
  4.   Healthcare-Category Draw: Another category-based draw was conducted by IRCC on July 6, targeting candidates with work experience in healthcare occupations. A total of 1,500 candidates were invited, with a minimum CRS score of 463.
  5.   French-Speaking Draw: On July 7, a draw aimed explicitly at candidates with French-speaking abilities was conducted. 2,300 candidates were invited, with a minimum CRS score of 439.
